Kindergarten in France

Kindergarten in France

This prestigious reference is  located in Grasse, in the south of France,  and it is named “Bastide Du Peyrard”.

Designed by the Cannes based architectural studio Atelier ANNICK ANTOINE, it had to meet  3 simple and strict requirements: « design, harmony, and respect for the environment ».

Thanks to funding from  General Council of the Maritime Alps, this project is considered as a pilot scheme of high quality standards within a reasonable budget.
The renovation of an existing   Provençal building  had to be well integrated with the surrounding environment, flaunting advanced architectural solutions as well.

Due to the “environmental policy”,the final choice awarded rubber thanks also to its typical characteristics: wear resistance, safety, acoustic, bio-compatibility and low emission of VOC.

The product chosen for a quantity of 1.100 sqm was MULTIFLOOR ND-UNI colour U17

Rodari School in Bolzen

Rodari School in Bolzen

Accent colours  typify the full rennovation of Rodari School located in Bolzen, Italy.

On a surface of 1200 sqm Artigo Kayar has been installed, mainly in the acid green colour K72, matched with more neutral tones like the “ivory” K73 and the dark grey K01.

The project is marked by a technical design: wide windows and indirect light help to increase this effect, but the actual key feature is the use of colour, uniformly moving  from floor to walls.

A special enamel paint, based on the same RAL colour of the flooring, has been used in order to give the impression of an unique architectural element:  flooring / stairs / wall.

Renovation has been designed by the Area Architetti Associati, based in Bolzen.

Artigo at FuoriSalone 2009

Artigo at FuoriSalone 2009

Artigo, in collaboration with Powerplate, displays ZERO.4 at Università Statale of Milan located in Festa del Perdono street n.7.

On the occasion of FuoriSalone®2009, INTERNI promotes, during the Milan Design Week (21 - 27 April 2009), the big Event INTERNI DESIGN ENERGIES, dedicated to the concept of ENERGY interpreted from the ‘humanistic’ viewpoint, as the expression of the best intellectual production presented, in this case, in the form of design and invention, and from the more ordinary viewpoint of the use of alternative energy sources and the optimization of the use of conventional sources, further developing the experience started last April with the GreenEnergyDesign exhibition.

Sustainability, bioconstructions, environmentally-friendly architecture, eco-design. There are many ways to describe what appears, at this point, to be an obligatory path for construction and the production of useful objects: the design of responsibility.

Artigo, in collaboration with Powerplate, fully embodies the spirit of this venture displaying ZERO.4 at Università Statale of Milan located in Festa del Perdono street n.7.
