Laboratory surfacing with rubber flooring Nd/Uni

The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is a world-leading institute in global health with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries.

The new headquarters in Allschwil, designed by KUNZUNDMÖSCH Architekten, is set for completion by the end of 2021 and will offer nearly 900 workplaces, laboratory spaces as well as teaching facilities.

The new building, called Belo Horizonte, in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, will have a floor space of 13,376 square metres and offer 725 workplaces, over 150 laboratory spaces, as well as auditoriums, classrooms and a cafeteria.

Jürg Utzinger, Director of Swiss TPH, said: “The new building brings together work, laboratory and education spaces in a unique way that will enable us to even better fulfil our mandate to improve the health of people ».

The labs feature our own Nd/Uni rubber flooring in the dissipative Ant48 version, with PC10-surface treatment, in the custom-made colour S6020-G for a total surface of 3600 sqm.
