The Madrid Planetarium is a centre run by the Madrid City Council’s Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport, which was inaugurated on 29 September 1986. During 2016 and 2017, extensive technological, facility and building renovations were carried out, which now allow for cutting-edge activities in the field of scientific dissemination.
