QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
· Can I install it outdoors?
No. Artigo rubber flooring is engineered exclusively for indoor environments.
· What about high-traffic indoor spaces?
Artigo rubber flooring is the ideal solution for hospitals, schools, offices, dental clinics and public administration buildings where hygiene, acoustic comfort, and durability are paramount.
· What about hospital bedrooms?
Absolutely yes! Indentation is one of the main challenges for hospital flooring, but our 2 mm-thick rubber flooring has performed exceptionally well thanks to the elastic return of the material.
· Is it suitable for wet rooms, bathrooms or kitchens?
We do NOT recommend installing our rubber flooring in showers, bathrooms, or any areas with running or standing water.
Likewise, the presence of hot oils, animal fats, and the extremely aggressive cleaning protocols required in industrial or restaurant kitchens are not compatible with rubber surfaces.
· Can I use it in light storage areas?
Yes, you can install rubber flooring in archives or light storage rooms, provided the space is strictly limited to pedestrian foot traffic or light manual carts.
· What about heavy-duty storage warehouses?
Rubber flooring is discouraged in logistics centers or warehouses with heavy vehicular traffic. It is not designed to withstand the stress, loads, and turning forces of forklifts or pallet jacks.
