Bank offices surfacing with rubber flooring Screed
Crédit du Nord has inaugurated a new, atypical branch in Lille: it’s a full open space, with no individual office or counter. Designed by A-TRAIT Architectes it may look like a bar, a town square, even a coworking space – instead it’s a new concept of bank, the embodiment of the “open banking” strategy.
Gone is the old “closed-doors office”. Like nomads, everyone moves around freely from one space to another. About ten positions in the glazed square are made available to the 25 employees who are encouraged to set up with their laptop in the heart of the agency, on a large table or at the counter. Meetings with clients can be made in small glass-enclosed lounges to ensure confidentiality.
The open piazza, called “The stage”, doubles as an auditorium for conferences and events. This is where our intervention is focused, with 1000 sqm of our exclusive Screed S05 rubber flooring.
The Espace Lille is the template for the other 25 branches of Crédit du Nord, all of them fitted with our Screed.
