Office flooring with smooth rubber surface Kayar.
Enexis is an independent grid operator, responsible for the construction, maintenance, operation and development of the transportation and distribution grids for electricity and gas, thereby allowing energy suppliers to meet changing energy demands on an ongoing basis. This “private giant” chose the prestigious architecture studio “Atelier Pro” to design their new offices in Maastricht, Venlo and Zwolle with a clear emphasis on energy saving. The façade has been designed in a geometry such as too reduce the heating needs to the minimum while leaving the possibility to see outdoor in any moment of the day. All three buildings – built in the same style – have achieved the BREEAM Excellent status. BREEAM is one of the world’s foremost environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings, with 250,000 buildings with certified assessment ratings and over a million registered for assessment since it was first launched in 1990. It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation and has become one of the most comprehensive and widely recognised measures of a building’s environmental performance.
